Platinised Titanium Mesh Anode for Electrolysis

Platinised Titanium Mesh Anode for Electrolysis

Platinised titanium anode are simply titanium anodes coated with platinum or platinum metal oxides. Platinum plated titanium anodes act as inert anodes, which are non consumable and durable. These anodes are insoluble in the electrolyte when present in electrolysis. Unlike carbon anodes, platinum plated titanium anodes do not corrode during aluminum reduction and do not release CO2, but are quite pure oxygen.

Platinized titanium anodes are generally produced by thermal decomposition or electroplating, it is featured for high electrode strength, good conductivity, and high catalytic activity and have been widely used in electroplating, cathodic protection and electrolysis fields.

UTron had provided platinised titanium mesh anode for electrolysis to their customer in Peru, below is some parameter for reference:
Anode substrate: Titanium in Gr2;
Anode Coating: Platinum;
Coating Thickness: 1.5 Micron;
Application: Electrolysis;
Export Country: Peru.

UTron is a leading factory of coated titanium anodes, it was found in 2006. They have been specialized in mixed metal oxide coated titanium anode for years, they can provide ruthenium oxide coating titanium anodes, iridium oxide coating titanium anodes, platinum coating titanium anodes, lead dioxide coating titanium anodes which have been applied in cathodic protection, electroplating, water treatment and other fields. As a professional titanium anodes supplier, they are capable of custom the anode service life, output current, dimension, and coating to meet customers’ specific needs.
