Титановый анод из оксида рутения для электрохимической очистки бумажных сточных вод

Ruthenium Oxide Titanium Anode for Paper Wastewater Electrochemical Treatment

The electrochemical oxidation of organic matter has provided favorable results in the treatment of wastewater in the paper industry. The effectiveness of the electrochemical oxidation process applied to organic matter depends essentially on the electrocatalytic activity of the electrode material that constitutes the anode; therefore, the appropriate selection of the anode can increase the removal of organic matter with high efficiency. Dimensionally stable anode-type  (DSA) electrodes were more effective than other anodes in the electrochemical oxidation of phenol and its byproducts from the paper industry wastewater.

UTron manufactures ruthenium oxide titanium anode for paper wastewater electrochemical treatment prepared by thermal decomposition and the coating was applied by brushing onto the titanium substrate. The coating elemental content includes ruthenium iridium and other precious metal components. These ruthenium oxide coated titanium anodes have high activities and high resistance to corrosion, they reveal excellent COD, color, and polyphenols removal efficiency.
