MMO canister anode consists of a titanium substrate tubular, wire, rod, or mesh wrapped in a  metal canister that is filled with coke breeze backfill. The MMO coating can be iridium, tantalum, ruthenium, or other platinum group metal. MMO canister anode is mostly used in  impressed current cathodic protection application.
